The Undead element was just like the other magic elements scattered throughout the void. Even a necromancer had to gather them through meditation and absorb them.

Some magic formations and ceremonies could also achieve the same effect.

To explain it scientifically, An Xiaoru and the other girls were using the saucer as the intermediary while relying on the dim candlelight and deep voice to build up the ambiance to hypnotize themselves. Thus, their biomagnetic frequency achieved resonance and, as a result, attracted some Undead elements.

Naturally, this wasn’t the experts’ opinion but Xia Yan’s imagination running wild. It was another thing to say whether science could explain this phenomenon.

Undead elements kept pouring into the room through the door’s gap. Xia Yan speculated that all the Undead elements in the dorm building were coming over here.

After a few minutes, Xia Yan could see that the Undead elements had formed a dense smokey human-shaped figure that had flown to the center of the four girls. It lingered between An Xiaoru and the saucer for a moment before flowing into the saucer.

The saucer under the four fingers ambled on top of the circles drawn on the white paper.

The girls’ eyes opened wide simultaneously with shock written all over their faces. Xiaoyu covered her mouth with her other hand, afraid that she would scream. The common-faced girl almost moved her finger away from the saucer yet endured it.

Anna’s reaction was better and contained a lot of excitement since she had previous experience.

Of the four people, An Xiaoru’s reaction was the biggest. She trembled all over, and her eyes filled with alarm. As if something was happening to her body.

Only, as An Xiaoru had her back facing towards the balcony, Xia Yan couldn’t see her expression. Else he would have instantly discovered something had gone wrong.

The four girls had already discussed who would ask first. This mission naturally landed on the experienced Anna. She asked solemnly, “Lord Spirit, how many boyfriends will I find this year?”

Xiaoyu and the common-faced girl looked at her at the same time; Xia Yan also felt sweat form on his forehead. [Don’t tell me Anna is of the legendary green tea variety that string around a few boyfriends?]

The saucer drifted and stopped on top of the circle with ‘5’ inside it. Xiaoyu and the common-faced girl drew in an icy breath while Anna had a satisfied look on her face. She raised her chin sideways to hint Xiaoyu to ask her question.

Xiaoyu hesitated for a moment then asked shyly, “Lord Spirit, does Xiao Yuan like me?”

[This is an innocent girl!] Xia Yan nodded inwardly.

The saucer moved again and finally stopped above the circle with ‘No’ inside it. Xiaoyu’s face turned pale immediately.

Anna’s face brimmed with killing intent and murmured a few letters silently. From the movements, Xia Yan judged that she had scolded him as a ‘bastard.’ He felt puzzled. [Doesn’t this Anna have double standards? You’re planning to have five boyfriends yet can’t bear to see Xiaoyu’s boyfriend do the same? Is it because of the different gender? Let alone, Ouija divination’s outcome isn’t accurate!]

Anna then looked at An Xiaoru and hinted at her to ask the question. But she had her head lowered and didn’t move at all. Therefore, she used her hand to pat An Xiaoru’s shoulder.

This startled An Xiaoru. She raised her head and looked at Anna. The whites of her eyes had disappeared and been replaced by pitch-black darkness. As if the pupils had expanded and occupied the entire eyes. It looked strange and terrifying.

“Ghost!” Anna screamed after dazing out. She wanted to escape, but her legs had gone weak, so she could only crawl with her hands and feet. Her entire backside was out in the open now.

Xiaoyu also screamed out and fainted.

That common-face girl also wanted to flee, but An Xiaoru had grabbed her ankle. She immediately felt a bone piercing chill from her ankle. She lost all strength in her body before she fell to the floor and fainted.

An Xiaoru stood up and walked over towards Anna. Anna had lost her voice from the fear and could only retreat with her hands. She felt extreme regret right now. [If I knew this would happen, I would’ve never suggested playing this Ouija game!]

As she looked at An Xiaoru make her way towards her, Anna’s legs turned into jelly.

[Why haven’t you fainted?!]

Xia Yan looked at the scene gloomily. Although Anna felt scared, she hadn’t fainted till now, and this made him hesitant to act. When he saw that An Xiaoru had already reached in front of Anna and had leaned over to grab Anna’s neck with her pale hands, Xia Yan couldn’t wait any longer. He pushed open the balcony door and entered the room.

After stepping inside, the balcony and the room felt like two separate worlds to Xia Yan. There was still some warmth from daytime left in the balcony. Yet, the temperature inside the room had suddenly declined by 7-8 degrees and was full of negative energy.

An Xiaoru immediately sensed Xia Yan’s existence and turned back slowly. Under the gently swaying candlelight, her emotionless black eyes seemed more terrible.

Anna saw that a masked person had entered from the balcony and looked at them as if they were her savior. She finally saw hope, and when she was about to speak, she saw the masked person put their finger on their lips, hinting her to not talk. She immediately closed her mouth and didn’t even dare to take a breath.

Xia Yan was afraid of ghosts before, but ever since he got the Lich’s inheritance, he had become fearless of them. It was because he understood their essence.

For a necromancer, ghosts were just consolidations of concentrated Undead elements.

When the concentration reached a high degree, the Undead elements would affect the person’s body and spirit. This wasn’t anything to worry about since the person would just see some strange things. It wasn’t even as grave as hallucinations. A person would hallucinate when the body temperature was too high. The matchstick girl had also seen many things before she had frozen to death. Both warmth and coldness could cause the same effect.

An Xiaoru already had traces of Undead elements on her body, and these had easily attracted the Undead elements gathered through the Ouija divination.

She had also conditioned her mind, so it was easy for her to get influenced by the Undead elements. She wasn’t even aware of her actions.

Her black eyes were not her expanded pupils. The pitch-black darkness resulted from the Undead elements creating a lens through her eyes and hence looked so strange.

As for the chilling sensation experienced by the common-faced girl from An Xiaoru’s hand, it was also because of the Undead elements. This element leaned towards negativity, and even the temperature of the room had already dropped by a few degrees. It was natural that it felt bone-chilling. She had fainted from fear and not because of getting her vitality sucked away.

An Xiaoru ignored Anna and walked over towards Xia Yan. He promptly chanted an esoteric magic incantation, which felt like heaven’s hymns to Anna’s ears.

[They must be a demon-slaying expert! Maybe they are a Taoist Master or a Daoist Priest from Mt. Mao!] Anna pondered.

Xia Yan didn’t know what Anna was thinking. But he felt it hard to chant and concentrate because he had finally seen An Xiaoru from the front!

This girl had only worn a thin thong and had her beautiful figure in full display to Xia Yan. Her slender, long legs, slim waist, and perfect body curves… Those humongous mounds of hers bounced along with her footsteps and made Xia Yan’s heart race.

This scene was too beautiful for a virgin. He didn’t dare to keep looking! The impact was too huge on him. Xia Yan spent all his willpower to finish the incantation smoothly. Else he would have faced a backlash from the magic if he lost his focus while chanting and stopped midway.

“Soul Storage Horcrux!” After finishing the incantation at lightning speed, Xia Yan took off the skull on his chest and threw it towards An Xiaoru.

Blue soul fire ignited at the seven apertures of the skull. It left behind a strange yet beautiful blue trail in the air as it accurately flew towards An Xiaoru’s head and stopped there. That blue flame intensified suddenly and changed into a watermelon-sized flame skull. It opened its mouth bit An Xiaoru’s head.

“AAAAHH!” Anna finally screamed out. The scene before her eyes was too terrifying. She thought the masked person was a demon slayer, yet they turned out to be an evil practitioner. When she saw them summon a skull to bite An Xiaoru’s head, she believed it would be difficult for the four of them to escape this calamity!

“Shut up!” Xia Yan chided her. Anna immediately covered her mouth and stared back, with her eyes wide open in alarm.

Soon after, the skull pendant fell to the floor with a thud in front of Anna. She bowed down to look and felt as if her soul had left her body and was getting sucked into those black sockets. She immediately raised her head and didn’t dare to look at it again. Only, she had already remembered the skull pendant’s appearance in her heart.

Xiaoru’s body also fell to the floor, so Xia Yan went to catch her. The soft and satiny feeling from his arm messed with his hormones. He couldn’t help copping a feel or two, and this unprecedented stimulus had immediately pitched a tent in his shorts.

In a blink of an eye, Anna’s sight had fallen on his hands and that ‘tent.’ Although Xia Yan had covered his face, the situation had turned awkward. Xia Yan was helpless about this, as a virgin’s face was too thin. He felt his face flush up after getting caught while copping a feel from An Xiaoru.

Xia Yan placed An Xiaoru on the floor and pulled a sheet to cover her body. He then stooped his waist with much difficulty to hide his little buddy that had turned into the Tower of Babel.

His image as an expert had crashed immediately. His movement had quelled Anna’s fear by a lot and made her chuckle while covering her mouth. Xia Yan finally couldn’t bear it anymore. He picked up the skull pendant and made his way towards the balcony. He then suddenly recalled something and turned his head to tell her, “They are okay and will get better after a night of sleep. Don’t play this game again!”

“Mmm, I’ll do as you say!” Anna replied cleverly. She then got up and arranged her suspenders that had slid down. This movement stunned Xia Yan.

“What’s your name?” Anna asked suddenly.

“Xia… I’ll tell you next time!” Xia Yan almost spoke out his name but fortunately reacted just in time. [Such a fierce honey trap]. He didn’t dare to speak anymore and walked out to the balcony and jumped down. Anna quickly ran over to look and saw him use his hand to grab the railing of the lower floor as a buffer as he made his descent. After doing it thrice, he had safely landed on the ground.

“I’ll definitely find you!” Anna placed her hand at her mouth and yelled at him. Xia Yan almost staggered and immediately sped up his escape.

Anna revealed a smile as she saw the masked man’s silhouette disappear, “You forgot to lower your voice when you told me to shut up! Also, I’ll recognize that skull pendant if I see it. Humph! You’re just an innocent virgin boy, so you’re probably one of this year’s freshmens. It’s not that difficult to find you!”

“Knock-Knock!” The girl-next-door had come knocking on the door after hearing their screams. “Hey, Anna, Xiaoru, are you okay?”

“We’re fine. We were just narrating ghost stories!” Anna replied.
