Antano was dead.

Worse, her only remains would surely be decimated if it was to take on the Gatlin’s attack. Bedwick, who hid behind Antano’s corpse, was a bastard who dared to use this underhanded trick.

Antano was killed by Bedwick in her attempt to protect Debbie. Therefore, both Debbie and Ye Chui were indebted to this female swordsman; they could not bear to soil her corpse. They were not as heartless, or as thankless as Bedwick. Hence, the pair that was suspended in the air ceased their siege and returned to the ground.

“She was once your subordinate! Not only did you kill her, you still have the heart to make use of her body as your meat shield?” Ye Chui lambasted Bedwick, “You … I did not think you were this heartless!”

(Silavin: Pot, meet Kettle. Kettle, meet Pot!)

“Heartless?” Bedwick held up Antano body in front of him, treating it as a shield. “In this world, how can one survive with only magnanimity? Don’t make me laugh. But, well, no matter. Since you already saw this side of me, it just gives me all the more reason to make you into a corpse.”

“Let her go!” Debbie shouted as she points the Gatlin towards Bedwick.

“That’s a good idea.” Bedwick nods as though there was music in his ears. “But in exchange, you have to give me that magic weapon of your.”

He held Antano’s corpse in one hand and placed the dagger in his other hand to Antano’s neck, preparing to humiliate Antano’s corpse. As long as he starts swinging his dagger, Antano’sbody easily be turned into minced meat. He was more than willing to do anything, as long as he gets what he wants.

However, Bedwick did not really expect that this threat was enough to make Debbie hand over the magical weapon in her hand.

[No one was idiotic enough to do that] he thought but the results were, to him, surprising.

Iron Swordsman whispered something to Debbie. With a snort, Debbie threw Gatlin in her hand; completely overturning Bedwick’s expectation.

Bedwick had long itched to have this weapon of destruction in his hands. He knew that Debbie and the Iron Swordsman were fooled with a soft-heart. Laughing without any suspicion, he sneered and tossed the body in his hand. Bent down to the ground and excitedly grab the Gatlin on the ground. Immediately, he took aim and pointed the weapon forward.

“Idiots, To think that you would actually give me this great weapon. You two are really idiots beyond salvation.”

He had already seen how Debbie controlled the Gatlin so, he already knew how to use it. Directing the tip of the Gatling to the pair, he held the trigger and declared: “Die, Fools!”

“There is only one Idiot, and that’s you!” Before Ye Chui fell to the ground, he had already thought of a method to deal with Bedwick. Just as planned, Ye Chui made his move and quickly rolled out the scroll he had prepared in his hand. Without missing a step, he activated it in time and was covered in white light.

“You want to escape? Think again!” Bedwick roared and pulled the trigger. Bang! Bang! The Gatlin fired and the being that was covered by a thick black fog made a grin. However, that fiendish grin stiffened. The Gatlin had produced sounds of firing but no steel balls were coming out!

“As I have said earlier, this gun is bound to Debbie. Do you know what bound weapon is? Only she can use it!” Ye Chui coldly said. He disappeared without a trace into the white light.

“WHAT!”

Bedwick screamed as he now understood why Debbie easily gave up the Gatlin. However, this despair had only lasted for a second before he recovered. [This weapon can be studied later on.

Now, the main point is that those two no longer have this weapon in their hands.] As he held the Gatlin in his left hand, he held his Dagger in the right and turned around in preparation: “Do you think that you can use teleportation magic to win against me?”

Previously, Bedwick had seen Ye Chui use teleportation scroll to practice [Teleport]. Although Bedwick was praising it, he did fear it. A true master in [Teleport] would complete its transmission in a blink of an eye. Although Ye Chui is familiar with the user of the scroll, it would take him 0.8 seconds to [Teleport]. Therefore, there was more than enough time for Bedwick to react.

After Ye Chui disappeared with his [Teleport], Debbie stood still. Since Bedwick could no longer see Ye Chui, he judged that Ye Chui was behind him. [I’m not such a fool to be taken in by such an attack!]

A cold brightness lit up and the Intermediate Attack Skill: [Cold Night’s Wind] was activated behind him. Bedwick had expected that Ye Chui would be sliced into the piece but when he turned around to check, there was no one behind him. He had only sliced air!

Worse of all…

“Idiot!” Ye Chui’s voice suddenly sounded off behind him.

He quickly turned back.

When Bedwick turned around, he saw that he, himself was wrapped in a white light, and the source of it was a scroll tightly stuck to his arm. The truth was that the scroll earlier had not been used at that point in time, but rather, Ye Chui had quickly taken out the stealth wand from his space ring before [Teleport] was used, and used the wand to make him disappeared.

Bedwick thought for himself that Ye Chui would appear behind him and thus turned to attack him. Unbeknownst to him, Ye Chui had already walked in front of him with stealth and started casting the transfer scroll. Bedwick, who was caught unaware, turned back to the front but by that time, it had already exceeded two seconds; ample enough to activate a scroll.

The magical interference caused by the teleportation scroll interfered with Ye Chui’s stealth mode. However, even if noticed, his plan had allowed him more than enough time to completely cast the teleportation scroll. The white light that indicated teleportation wrapped around Bedwick body and Ye Chui swiftly jump back. Objective destination: a different realm!

Ye Chui had developed the ancient tomb seal technique. However, he did not have complete assurance that he could teleport everything he cast this technique on to always end up inside the ancient tomb.

However, it was certain that if he used this technique, it was certain that the target would end up in a completely different space; and this space/ realm is definitely a place no one can survive in. Since this was the denial of entrance to the ancient tomb, Ye Chui named it Tomb Blockage.

Because of the absence of a clear destination, Tomb Blockage would take 1.5 seconds to complete. So, Ye Chui firstly confused Bedwick with scroll and then used an invisibility of magic wand to approach him. This would compensate for the flaws in time and while he was not prepared, the scroll would be stuck with him and the bright light would cover Bedwick’s whole body.

Now, all that is left was to wait for Bedwick to be teleported to different space; a place that they will never go to.

Bedwick could not tell what had just happened. The sudden disappearance of a suit of armor before him had told him that Ye Chui was behind. When he turned around and back, he finally saw the figure that disappeared. However, at this point, his vision was starting to turn white.

[Using two teleportation scrolls in succession, how did he do it so quickly? Worse, it’s not him that is being teleported, it’s me! The scroll has been stuck on my body!] Bedwick thought as the scroll attached to his arm turned cold, and produced a feeling of disappearance.

  1. Thanks for the chapter.

Btw. I found several parts where a change would be good:

      1. Thanks. I’ve made the changes. As for the Gatin, I’m not changing that because it was on purpose. I wanted it to be something more unique, as though it was a personalised weapon. (The direct translation would just render it as Gatling gun)
